The annual meeting between the managerial team of Solaron Construct and the partner company P&T  Technische Mortel GmbH. Took place on 24.03.2011, in Neuss, Germany.

The representatives of the two companies analyzed the activity of Solaron Construct during the last year and discussed over future development of the partnership.

During the meeting P&T presented technical information and putting into works details on Kerasal, their new product range. Kerasal products are mortars specially developed for use at drinkable water applications.

Between the 2^nd and the 5^th of May 2011 P&T will participate at Wasser Berlin International exhibition, where they will present Kerasal product range.

Dan Paraipan – Technical manager represented Solaron Construct to the conference: “Road infrastructure – the challenge of 2011” (“Infrastructura rutiera-pariul anului 2011”), organized by Bursa Constructiilor on 24.03.2011, in Bucharest.

P.S.C. – Ownership of Romanian Contractors and A.P.D.P. – Professional Association of Roads and Bridges from Romania – two of the federations that Solaron Construct is a member of – co-organized this conference.

The debate was focused on the priorities set by the Ministry of Transportation for 2011, European funds for infrastructure works, tenders and contracts for works from public funds.

02.03.2011, Romanian Order of Architects – Dunarea de Jos Branch offices: Solaron Construct organized a presentation on the materials and technology we supply. A technical debate on reference works followed.
Mr. Razvan Niculescu-Aron (General Manager Solaron Construct), Ms. Liliana Popescu (Sales Manager) and Mr. Dan Paraipan presented the EuroCret repair and protection mortars and systems for concrete structures, EuroGrout undercasting, anchoring and injection mortars, Kerasal products for water tanks, Tradecc reinforcement systems with laminated unidirectional fibers, Tradecc osmotic waterproofing systems.

Engineering specialists, architects, representatives of PROIECT Galati, of Romanian Order of Architects – Dunarea de Jos Branch, State Control for Constructions Galati and Terracons Civic, Varia Prest attended this presentation.

Between 02.03 and 23.03.2011 Mr. Razvan Niculescu-Aron, General Manager Solaron Construct attended, as first vice-president of the Ownership of Romanian Contractors (PSC), the series of conferences organized but this federation. The conferences, entitled “Contractors – Together to protect our values” took place in Galati, Bacau, Suceava, Iasi, Cluj, Sibiu, Brasov, Ploiesti and Constanta and represented the second edition of the PSC Local Conferences.

Repair mortars for water tanks

Water tanks must be repaired in such a manner that, after the works are over, they meet the requirements of a new tank.

-         the mater must not be contaminated

-         water tanks must be sealed

-         water chambers must be easy to maintain

-         the storing system must be safe

The system must have the following characteristics:

-         must respect certain physical and chemical values

-         microbiological safety

-         low surface rugosity

-         durability

-         sealing

KERASAL products, cement based products, are used for potable water works because:

-         the material does not facilitate bacteria, pH>9

-         the system is compatible with the support layer, this is not altered

-         the residual humidity in the concrete does not raise any issues

-         the materials without organic components do not represent a favourable environment for bacteria.

SOLARON CONSTRUCT participated at the National Roads and Bridges Congress, 13th edition, that took place in Brasov.

On 30.06.2010 Solaron Construct organized a technical debate on: ”Systems for concrete repair and consolidation. Modern technologies and products. Case studies – reference works”.

The event took place at the offices of the Ownership of Romanian Contractors (www.psc.ro). Representatives of S.C. Constructii Erbasu, Energoconstructia S.A., IPROCHIM, S.C. Delta ACM S.R.L., IPTANA, S.C. Aquaproiect S.A. attended the presentation.

Mr. Razvan Niculescu-Aron (General Manager Solaron Construct), Mrs. Liliana Popescu  (Sales manager) and Mr. Dan Paraipan (Technical manager) presented the repair mortars and the EuroCret repair and protection systems for concrete structures, Eurogrout anchor and injection mortars, Kerasal products for water tanks, Tradecc unidirectional laminated fibers reinforcement systems, Tradecc osmotic waterproofing systems.

The technical presentation was followed by case studies – various special works executed by our company or with our products.

SOLARON CONSTRUCT attended the Energy Forum, being represented by Mr.Razvan Niculescu-Aron, General Manager.

With this occasion, our company presented our range of products, applicable in energy related works: EuroCret repair and protection systems for damaged concrete structures at hydroelectrical plants, EuroCret 40 HSF  special grouts resistant to sulphate attack, with steel fibers, for repair works at tall structures – smoke chimneys and cooling towers – for thermoelectrical plants, EuroGrout Special Grouts for heavy structures foundations or support frames, highly resistant to pressure, shocks, vibrations and high loads.

With the occasion of EXPO APA, SOLARON CONSTRUCT, together with the main German partner P&T Technische Mortel presented the new range of  products: „KERASAL – durable systems for drinkable water reservoirs”.

SOLARON CONSTRUCT  became Member of the Romanian Water  Association at the begining of June.

Our aim to become active participants at the repair works at waste and drinkable water treatment plants and also sewage systems.

Our goal is that all the members – designers, consultants, beneficiaries and contractors -know our products suitable for these projects, and use them in long lasting, quality works
